Fulbright House
Included in the interview process was the requirement to give a short presentation. What I found most difficult about this was that I was unable to use a presentation tool, i.e. PowerPoint. I'm pretty much 'used' to doing presentations, readings and impromptu speeches about Chopin (thanks to my Head of House) because of the roles I held in school, but I would almost always have a slide, or a fixed topic at least, to base it on.Anyway, the interview was overall a really positive experience. Of course very nerve-wracking, but I guess that's all part of it. I always think that the adrenaline rush acts as a positive thing for those kind of situations. The interview panel were lovely, and I did actually really enjoy discussing the various topics with them. They were keen to listen to my answers, and I was very keen to explain myself as best as I could.
I didn't leave the interview feeling confident, as such. However, I definitely did leave knowing that I did the best that I could.
